Success of VCR mining bottom structure trough in Ulan mine project department, Mongolia

          At 15:30 p.m. on July 17, VCR mining of 3101 stope in 885m middle section of No.1 ore body of Ulan mine project department in Mongolia was successful, which indicated that the mining of project department had successfully transferred to VCR mining, and had the ability of two mining methods to construct at the same time. The 885m middle section, which plays a key role in the connection of ore quantity, will enter the normal blasting period.

         With the mining of Wulan mine, the reserve mining capacity of 945m middle section can not meet the requirements of production plan. In order to ensure the completion of production plan, the project department made great efforts to overcome the difficulties such as shortage of manpower and hard working conditions. At 15:30 p.m. on July 17, 3101 stope in the first mining area of 885m middle section of No VCR mining has been carried out, and new ore sources will be added in, laying a solid foundation for the continuous mining and subsequent mining.
