500 million tons of new mineral resources in Guangxi in two years

According to the China land and resources report on July 4, the Department of land and resources of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region and the Bureau of Geology and mineral resources of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region speeded up the exploration breakthrough by strengthening the "Trinity" organization construction and implementing the total amount control of exploration right. Since 2011, 76 new mineral resources have been discovered in the region, including 38 large and medium-sized mineral resources. The bauxite and manganese resources in the two national integrated exploration areas are about 200 million tons, and the newly increased resources of tin, tungsten, lead, zinc, copper, gold, silver and kaolin are 317 million tons in other parts of the area.

Guangxi implements the total amount control of exploration rights, integrating the number of exploration rights in the whole region from 2198 in 2011 to 1635 in 2012. The geological exploration units in the whole region have strengthened the research on the comprehensive mining, beneficiation and smelting technology of bauxite and manganese ore, making a batch of manganese carbonate resources with a grade of 6% - 8% become available resources, and the ore yield of bauxite mine exploration project has increased from 36.2% to 50.3%. At the same time, the modes of "mine stripping Mining Reclamation" and "land acquisition by rent" have greatly promoted land reclamation and ecological environment restoration.

Under the promotion of the new exploration mechanism, two national integrated exploration areas, namely Fusui Longzhou bauxite area and Tiandeng Longyuan debonawen area, have proved 100 million tons of high-quality stacked bauxite, predicted that the potential of sedimentary bauxite resources is more than 200 million tons; the new manganese resources are 96.11 million tons; the new bauxite resources are expected to be 60 million tons and 20 million tons this year.
